Years ago, my annual hope was,
"Next year, maybe things will slow down."
I've given up on that thought.
Now I know things here will probably stay rocky.
My thoughts today tend to be much more realistic as I ponder, "What opportunities will God put before me today?"
Then I pray, "Lord, open my eyes to the miracles and possibilities around me; help me make decisions accessing Your peace and join You in Your plans!"

My Hope about Today and Tomorrow
Right now things may look bleak, messy, or even scary but if I remember that God is working and in control, life comes into better focus!
Even if I may have caused some of the problems, God is willing and able to clean things up!

Can you guess what caused my clogged drain?
Yes, too much hair down the sink!
I should have known better but
still had to get rid of the problem.
My relationship with God is the same.
I have to remove things that keep His word
from penetrating my heart!
By staying daily in His word, talking to Him, and listening for His voice, I gain an unhindered relationship with Him!
His mercies ARE new every morning!
My Philosophy
We all have emergencies, problems, frustrations, good and bad days.
Regardless, I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
By identifying what my mind is dwelling on and working to fill my thoughts with truth, I get closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We all are, through His grace, able to unlock
God's power, peace, love, and truly live victoriously!
